Ahtna, Incorporated was formed under the landmark Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) of 1971. Headquartered in Glennallen, Alaska, our traditional lands span the majestic Wrangell-St. Elias National Park & Preserve, the Chugach Range, and the Copper River watershed.
Through strategic enterprise diversification, Ahtna funds shareholder dividends, educational scholarships, elder distributions, and land protection programs while preserving Ahtna Athabascan language, customary hunting rights, and ancestral heritage.
